Accreditation was a voluntary process in which Montvale Surgical Center was measured by the quality of its services and performance, against rigorous and nationally recognized standards. The accreditation process included extensive self-assessment of processes, procedures and protocols, as well as a thorough review by the Accreditation Association’s expert surveyors who affirmed that Montvale Surgical Center met or exceeded all national recognized best practice standards established by the AAAHC.
The AAAHC is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1979 and the preeminent leader in developing standards to advance and promote patient safety, quality and value for ambulatory health care through peer-based accreditation processes, education and research.
